I was introduced to Cowboy Action Shooting in 2005 by a good friend ( now deceased) Cowboy Butch aka Butch Powell. Since that first shoot in Feb. 05 I've found that this is the most fun I've ever had while shooting. I shoot with the Watrace Regulators in Wartrace Tennessee. SASS, Single Action Shooting Society, is the governing body of this sport.
At a monthly match we typically shoot 5 Stages (courses of fire). At each stage we shoot 2 single action revolvers, a lever action, or pump action rifle, and a double barrel, lever action or pump action (1897 Winchester or clone only) shotgun.
All of our guns are of a design made prior to 1900.
I hope you enjoy the pictures I've posted and if you're interested in Cowboy Action Shooting click on one of the links above and come out and watch a shoot near you.

I just had to show a few items from a really cool shop in Bell Buckle. Some of these are things I had made for me and some are just a few examples of what they donated for door prizes to The Regulators Reckoning. I should have taken pictures of all the door prizes , but I didn't think about it until it was too late. They can do amazing Laser Engraving on wood, glass and metal. If you get to opportunity go to Bell Buckle and see Joe and Debbie and check out the Custom Fly Tying by Little Joe. Tell them Randy sent you. Their website
