A Gunfight In Dixie VII, Memphis 2008

18 Wartrace Regulators headed to Memphis to join a bunch of other cowpokes for a gunfight and this is what we found.
Lady Blackfish,    Bella Spencer      and     Rosa Dixie
Some of the best looking Saloon Girls you'll find anywhere

Oglala Sue won the Saloon Girl contest and I did not get a picture of her in her Saloon Girl dress, so I added this picture so you can at least see who won.

The Wartrace Regulators that were left, some had gone home before this was taken.

We had a great time at A Gunfight In Dixie VII, 18 Wartrace Regulators joined 92 other Cowboys and Cowgirls for one of the best weekends around.

We shot Side Matches on Friday, my first attempt at precision pistol with a Vaquero but it was fun. Friday night we had a choice of a pork chop, or country fried steak dinner, with adult beverage included if you were so inclined. That was followed by a poker game and a Saloon Girl Contest. Saturday night we were treated to a steak dinner, and a live band, Dooly Sworn sure can tickle those ivories. There were lots of door prizes given out also.

Saturday and Sunday we shot 10 stages based on Women Of The Wild West, they were challenging, but not procedural traps, fun and fast. Sunday afternoon there were lots of awards given to the top shooters in each Category.

Top Shooter was Will Reilly and the top Lady Shooter was Dew R. Dye, congratulations to them and all the folks who placed well in their categories.

I think this will be a must attend again next year.
